Dear Friends,
Thank you so much – for everything. I am thrilled to share this moment with the people who made our victory possible – our volunteers, donors, and supporters across Kentucky. We could not have done this without your efforts, and I am grateful for everything you did to bring us to victory.
I am truly honored to be Kentucky's 76th Secretary of State. This win belongs to each of you. I am eager to work with Governor Steve Beshear, Lt. Governor-Elect Jerry Abramson and all of our constitutional officers to continue moving Kentucky forward. While we have challenges to overcome, I know Kentucky’s best days are ahead of us.
This is an exciting time not only for family and friends, but for everyone who touched this campaign – from the hours of phone-banking to the over 10,000 of you who put our signs up statewide – thank you so much. The work begins now and I can’t wait to hit the ground running in Frankfort. I am committed to protecting the rights of every voter, engaging all Kentuckians in the process, and encouraging job growth in the Commonwealth so we put our citizens back to work.
